1 Cor 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power
Mk 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs
Christianity cannot begun without receiving the Power of the Holy Spirit God.
Acts 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
When we receive the Power of the Holy Spirit only then we will be as witnesses or testifying, if not we will only be living a life not worthy of the calling that we have received.
Before whom should we testify?
Matthew 10:32 – “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
How should we testify?
1 Peter 3:15
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
With what attitude should we testify?
2 Timothy 1:8
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,
For whom should we testify?
Luke 8:39
“Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.” So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
Mark 5:19
And He did not let him, but He *said to him, “Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.”
