When we learn we will not be afraid.
worried that something undesirable will occur or be done.
So let us see from the Bible, where this afraid or fear began?
And he said, “I heard You in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”
Genesis 3:10
The first man was afraid because he disobeyed God.
Adam was afraid because he was naked
Adam was afraid when he heard the voice of God.
1. Many Christians are living with fear or in afraid because of their disobedience.
Bible says
Psalm 8:4 – 6
What is man that You remember him,
the son of man that You look after him?
5 You made him little less than God
and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him lord over the works of Your hands;
You put everything under his feet:
2. Christians are afraid because they are naked.
Colossians 3:5-11
5 Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, God’s wrath comes on the disobedient, 7 and you once walked in these things when you were living in them. 8 But now you must also put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander,and filthy language from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator. 11 In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.
3. We will be afraid when we have sinned and when we hear God's voice.
