How Are We Saved – Week 3
Grace, Love and Peace to each and every one of you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Can someone tell the verse from Mark 11:22-24
So today let us understand how we are saved ?
Ephesians 2:4-5
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,5 made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!
The Word of God explains that we are saved.
How are we saved – Verse 4 & 5 gives us three reasons why we are saved.
1. Because of God’s rich mercy
2. Because of God’s great love
3. Because of God’s grace
Bible gives us a clear picture about God’s Grace
Ephesians 2:8-9 (Grace of God is a gift)
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast.
Romans 3:24 (Grace of God freed us)
Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
1 Corinthians 15:10 (Grace of God makes us like God)
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
Hebrews 4:16 (Grace of God helps us in time of need)
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Grace of God is Gift
Grace of God frees us
Grace of God make us like God
Grace of God helps us in time of need

Financial Planning – Week 2
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Planning helps us to move in the right direction
Planning helps us to move forward
Planning helps us from being distracted
Planning helps us from turning backwards
* Don’t allow money to be your master
* Be faithful in handling money
* Do not set your heart upon money
Luke 12:16-21 (Rich towards God)
16 Then He told them a parable: “A rich man’s land was very productive. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What should I do, since I don’t have anywhere to store my crops? 18 I will do this,’ he said. ‘I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones and store all my grain and my goods there. 19 Then I’ll say to myself, “You have many goods stored up for many years. Take it easy; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.”’
20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared—whose will they be?’
21 “That’s how it is with the one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
So today we will be learning how to be rich towards God
How to be rich
Matthew 6:19-21 (Bible tells where we should collect treasures)
19 “Don’t collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But collect for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Luke 12:31-34 (Bible tells how to collect treasures in heaven)
“But seek His kingdom, and these things will be provided for you. 32 Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Make money-bags for yourselves that won’t grow old, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Mark 12:41 – 44 (Best way of storing is by giving tithes)
And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

Financial Planning – Week 1
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Planning helps us to focus on doing right
Planning helps us to move in the right direction
Planning helps us to move forward
Planning helps us from being distracted
Planning helps us from turning backwards
Moving forward from this week, we will be learning about Financial planning.
“Money and possessions are the second most referenced topic in the Bible –
money is mentioned more than 800 times – and the message is clear: Nowhere in Scripture is debt viewed in a positive way.”
As men we need to have proper planning for money because money is a great servant but a worst master.
Matthew 6:24
“No one can be a slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot be slaves of God and of money.
Luke 16:10-15
Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much. So if you have not been faithful with the unrighteous money, who will trust you with what is genuine? And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own? No household slave can be the slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t be slaves to both God and money.” The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things and scoffing at Him. And He told them: “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of others, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly admired by people is revolting in God’s sight.
Psalm 62:10Place no trust in extortion, or false hope in stolen goods. If your riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.
Our learning from today is we need money but:
* Don’t allow money to be your master
* Be faithful in handling money
* Do not set your heart upon money

Healing Belongs To Us
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Knowing what belongs to us will give us a greater idea of who we are, what we can ask and what we can claim.
As a believer there are certain truths that we need to understand and if we don’t know or understand we will be doing everything wrong.
What else belongs to us because of our redemption in Christ?
Healing is all ours because we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses,
and He carried our pains;
but we in turn regarded Him stricken,
struck down by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was pierced because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities;
punishment for our peace was on Him,
and we are healed by His wounds.
In the Original Hebrew, we will find that the words “grief” and “sorrows” in verse 4 are correctly translated, “Surely He hath borne our sickness or disease, and carried our pains: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted”
We will also notice in 1 Peter 2:24 – Peter was looking back to the cross
He Himself bore our sins
in His body on the tree,
so that, having died to sins,
we might live for righteousness;
you have been healed by His wounds.
Peter was not prophesying; he was looking back to Calvary and he was stating a fact about something that had already occured.
Many people say Why doesn’t God heal me?”
God does not hela you because healing already belongs to you now.
We are healed by His wounds.

Killer Of The Word Of God
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Matthew 13:1-9
On that day Jesus went out of the house and was sitting by the sea. 2 Such large crowds gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat down, while the whole crowd stood on the shore.3 Then He told them many things in parables, saying: “Consider the sower who went out to sow. 4 As he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate them up. 5 Others fell on rocky ground, where there wasn’t much soil, and they sprang up quickly since the soil wasn’t deep. 6 But when the sun came up they were scorched, and since they had no root, they withered. 7 Others fell among thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them. 8 Still others fell on good ground and produced a crop: some 100, some 60, and some 30 times what was sown. 9 Anyone who has ears should listen!”
Matthew 13:18-23
18 “You, then, listen to the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word about the kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the one sown along the path. 20 And the one sown on rocky ground—this is one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. 21 Yet he has no root in himself, but is short-lived. When pressure or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now the one sown among the thorns—this is one who hears the word, but the worries of this age and the seduction of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 23 But the one sown on the good ground—this is one who hears and understands the word, who does bear fruit and yields: some 100, some 60, some 30 times what was sown.”
Luke 8:15
15 But the seed in the good ground—these are the ones who, having heard the word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring, bear fruit.
Seed is the Word of God.
The Word of God will be fruitful when we hear the Word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring.
Verse 19 – When anyone hears the word about the kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the one sown along the path.
2. Pressure and Persecution
And the one sown on rocky ground—this is one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. 21 Yet he has no root in himself, but is short-lived. When pressure or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
22. Now the one sown among the thorns—this is one who hears the word, but the worries of this age and the seduction of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Knowing What belong to us – Introduction
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Knowing what belongs to us will give us a greater idea of who we are, what we can ask and what we can claim.
As a believer there are certain truths that we need to understand and if we don’t know or understand we will be doing everything wrong.
Our Passage of Study will be from Ephesians 1:3
Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens.
Everything that Jesus Christ bought and paid for at Calvary belongs to the Christians now.
That includes all or every blessing in Christ Jesus.
Not only that, but if they keep praying for what already belongs to them – they are not walking in faith because they are not believing and appropriating God’s provision for them.
Hebrews 11:6
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.
We know this because our Father God blessed the Church with every spiritual blessing in the heavens.
When the Word of God says All it means all.
What does it mean that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavens?
Every spiritual blessing includes everything God did for the body of Christ in Jesus’ redemptive work at the cross.
Everything God did in Christ belongs to the Church, the body of Christ.
God did for us to intend to bless us and enable us to carry out His plan on the earth.

Power Of Words
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Words play an important role in any individual life.
Many times we neglect the power of Words
Matthew 12:36 – 37
36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account
for every careless word they speak,
37 for by your wordsyou will be justified, and by your words you will be condemn ed.”
Words heal us or make us sick
Mark 11:23Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be take n up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his hea rt, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it wil l be done for him.
What we say, that is what we will be receiving.
The situations might be in chaos but we say what we believe rather than what we see
2 Corinthians 5:7
We walk by faith, not by sight.
We can declare we are sick or we can declare we are healed
We can declare we are poor or we can declare we are rich
We can declare we are in bondage or we can declare we are redeemed
We can declare we are captive or we can declare we are set free
We can declare we are affected or we can declare we are released
Doubt is like a climber which climbs slowly and starts affecting our life gradually.

Know Your Enemy
Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We began our Killer series last week and we had the Introduction
As a believer we need to know our:
1. Position
2. Source
3. Rock
4. Enemy
Today we will start learning about our enemy
If we know our enemy well we will be able to handle our enemy by knowing the tactics and plans he has against us.
Knowing the character of our enemy should make us cautious how to handle him and how to tackle the arrows that Satan is throwing at us
Ephesians 6:11
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
1 Peter 5:8Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
2 Thessalonians 2:9
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,
Devil is a:
Thief
Adversary (opponent)
Roaring lion
Murderer
Liar
father of lies
accuser
Tempter
Lawless one
