New Start

Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone of you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We will be learning 7 things that God is willing to give in a fresh way in this year

1. New beginning

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.

2. New Heart
Ezekiel 36:26 – I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

3. New thing
Isaiah 43:19 – See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

4. New self
Colossians 3:10 –
And have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him—

5. Newness of the Spirit

Romans 7:6 – But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

6. New Mercy

Lamentations 3:22-23 – Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end.

23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!

7. New Covenant

Hebrews 9:15 – Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

As a believer we need to know the God:
Who is with us (Rom 8:31)
Who is in us (2 Timothy 1:14)
Who goes before us (Deuteronomy 1:30)

Romans 8:31 – What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

2 Timothy 1:14 – By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.

Deuteronomy 1:30 – The Lord your God who goes before you will himself fight for you, just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,

Isaiah 52

Wake up, wake up;
put on your strength, Zion!
Put on your beautiful garments,
Jerusalem, the Holy City!
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
will no longer enter you.

2 Stand up, shake the dust off yourself!
Take your seat, Jerusalem.
Remove the bonds from your neck,
captive Daughter Zion.”

Knowing our position we need to do what God tells us to do:
1. Wake Up
2. Put on your Strength
3. Put on your beautiful garments
4. Stand up
5. Shake the dust
6. Take your seat
7. Remove the bonds from your neck

Know Your Vision

Grace, Love and Peace to each and everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We have finished 2021 and entered into the year 2022
We can live 2022 as same as the last year or we can live a better life by doing what the Word of God has said.

In order to do what God has said we should know what God has said us or what God has called us.

Don’t forget God’s calling is for a purpose
God called Abraham for a purpose – to make him the father of faith
God called Jospeh for a purpose – to save Israelites from famine
God called Jonah for a purpose – to proclaim the destruction of Nineveh
God called Daniel for a purpose – to interpret the dream and to use him for the glory of God even in Babylon
God called every person for a reason.

God has called you and me for a reason.
If we need to fulfil the reason or purpose why we are called we need to have a clear vision.

Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Every Vision was given for a reason
The problem with us we see vision but we are not doing anything about the vision that God is showing for us.

Every Vision has a reason:
Habakkuk 2:2 – It is for running
And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”

Acts 16:9 – to come over
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

Acts 18:9 – Not to be afraid
And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent.”

Every vision is for a reason and as a believer if we are not going to be aware of the vision that God has put in our heart we would be able to stand and glorify God through our lives.

So we need to know our vision so that we can live according to the times.

1 Chronicles 12:32
From the Issacharites, who understood the times and knew what Israel should do: 200 chiefs with all their relatives under their command.

Esther 4:14
14 If you keep silent at this time, liberation and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father’s house will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.”

If we do not know our vision we would not be knowing the times that we need to stand by and many have been ignorant and not able to fulfil their calling because they do not know the time or the vision.

As a Church let us know our vision and the timing we are living in so that we can live a life that pleases God.
