Today the whole world is filled with competition and winning. It is less of learning through mistakes and more of winning somehow.

People do anything and everything to win the situation. People have become so self-conscious but they still continue to be dissatisfied even after the win.

What is the reason behind this dissatisfaction?
Today many people live a life of frustration and restlessness.
The reason behind it is comparing them to what others have done. It has been a constant struggle in the human mankind to compare ourselves to others and what they have done.

Is there a reason or are we designed like that?
Many questions to think about but before we think further let us see what happened in the first human kind Adam and Eve.

Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Gen 3:6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

All of a sudden she felt she was not wise after Satan spoke to Eve. Satan created dissatisfaction in the life of Eve.
The first thing that Satan did was to make humans feel dissatisfied with themselves. Today most of the people go through the same phase and fall for the same thing that Eve fell as well.

Eve could not accept herself as she was.
She was missing self-acceptance.

Today someone here might also be feeling dissatisfied, just look back it is not the things that we are missing but we are missing self-acceptance.

Self-acceptance is the greatest gift we can give to ourself. Humans are always in the search of tomorrow that they forgot today. This is the day.

Don’t feel sorry for yourself because we cannot be someone else. God has chosen you and me for a specific purpose and the job given to me cannot be done by anyone.

What if I can’t preach like Paul or Peter?
God does not expect me to preach like them.

What if we can’t be zealous like Elijah or Elisha?
God does not expect us to be like them.

Use your talents God has given.

Whenever I see an angry person I know one thing is that person is not to accept himself or herself so he/she is not able to accept others as well.

We can love only after accepting. We can never love without accepting.

God knows we cannot accept ourselves that is the reason we find that God loves us first because God knows that we cannot love ourselves so He made a point to love us first.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world.

1Jn 4:10  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1Jn 4:11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

The greatest gift we can give to ourself is to accept ourselves.

1Co 12:11  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
1Co 12:12  For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1Co 12:13  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Co 12:14  For the body is not one member, but many.
1Co 12:15  If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Co 12:16  And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Co 12:17  If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
1Co 12:18  But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1Co 12:19  And if they were all one member, where were the body?
1Co 12:20  But now are they many members, yet but one body.
1Co 12:21  And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1Co 12:22  Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
1Co 12:23  And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
1Co 12:24  For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
1Co 12:25  That there should be no schism (split) in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
1Co 12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

First thing is we need to accept ourselves the way we are and our responsibility.

1 Cor 12:11 -20 – We find that we need to accept ourselves and the role that God has given us on this earth. Do not think what role I play in the Church. I am not even taking any part in the Church activities. God has ordained you for a specific purpose at the specific time. We all make the Church.

Second things is, it talks about we need to accept others as they are and their responsibility.

1 Cor 11:21- 24

Thirdly it talks about something important aspect that we all need to know.

There should be no split in the body. We should all have the same care for one another.
When one member suffers all the members suffer with it, or one member honored then all the members rejoice with it.
